My angel is a gift from God above
A darling little child, so full of love
Her laughter fills my heart with pure delight
Her smiles light the darkest of the night

My angel came to me with Gods sweet grace
He gave to me this perfect little face
He shines His loving down within her arms
I pray to You, God, shelter her from harm!
